About Rod

Rodney (Rod) was born in Clinton, Oklahoma, and then lived in the Southeast for many years. He attended what is now Heritage University in Florence, Alabama. He and his wife, Cathy, have now lived in Elk City for almost three decades. He started at 2nd & Adams in youth ministry (1995) and later transitioned to outreach. Rod regularly teaches Bible classes, preaches on occasion, and conducts several personal studies each week. He has a lot of life experience and continues to take on extra projects, such as teaching others to weld.
